Dr. Anthony DeMarco is a board certified member of the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a graduate of Kansas City University with a Doctor of Osteopathy degree, a holistic approach to patient care.
Dr. DeMarco completed his residency in 1993 at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. He then spent the next nine years as a staff Anesthesiologist at Methodist Hospital, also in Philadelphia where he eventually became the Director of the Pain Management Center. In 2002, Dr. DeMarco returned to Hahnemann University Hospital, this time as the Director of Same Day Surgery.

Dr. DeMarco is the founder of Mobile Anesthesia Service Concepts, also known as MASC. MASC delivers high quality anesthesia services to surgery centers and other medical facilities that wouldn’t normally have the ability to provide surgical options at their locations.

Dr. DeMarco is passionate about the patients in his care, and feels strongly that each individual has the right to nothing less than outstanding service delivered with great compassion and understanding. He has spent years witnessing the negative physical effects that fear and anxiety create in his patients as well as their negative effects on the body’s ability to heal. With an in-depth understanding of the science behind these effects, Dr. DeMarco has created Pre-Emptive Healing as a tool to reduce and eliminate pre-surgery patient anxiety thereby minimizing the recovery time and the need for over-medication to counteract the physical effects of fear and anxiety.
